Global TapRooT® Summit Trivia
Did you know that Mark Paradies organized the first Summit after attending and helping to organize many conferences for over a decade?
The first Summit was held in 1994 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
He saw a need for a conference with a focus on:
- performance improvement
- human performance
- incident investigation, and
- the latest improvement technology.
The first Summit was uniquely oriented toward practical applications that could be implemented at industrial facilities and in service organizations. It was not oriented toward research and PhD discussions (although this is valuable for researchers).
The other vision of that first Summit was sharing information and ideas across industry and organizational boundaries. This couldn’t be done by one professional organization (with a safety, quality, or equipment focus) or by an industry-oriented trade group (including nuclear, refining, healthcare, aviation, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, utilities, mining, shipping, or oil exploration).
Many Summits later, that vision is a global reality.
- Are you ready to hear best practices that can help your company improve performance?
- Would you like the opportunity to benchmark your practices against some of the best companies in the world?
- Do you value ideas that could save people’s lives and keep your company out of trouble?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, attend the next Summit.
