The Summit for TapRooT® Investigators

This Summit IS for You
A TapRooT® Course attendee told me that he thought the Summit was JUST for Certified TapRooT® Instructors. He had heard that Certified TapRooT® Instructors are required to attend the Summit and a pre-summit Course.
Yes – that is the requirement for Certified TapRooT® Instructors. And we expect over 100 Certified TapRooT® Instructors to be there. However, the first Summit was organized for TapRooT® Investigators to share best practices and hear about the latest performance improvement technology. Those same guiding principles apply today.
So the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit is for ANY TapRooT® Investigator who wants to learn new, better ways to:
- Improve their incident investigations,
- Stop fatalities and serious injuries,
- Improve quality,
- Achieve process excellence,
- Reduce human errors,
- Learn the psychology behind performance improvement,
- Reduce risk,
- Learn new ways to supercharge your improvement programs,
- Take your CAPA program to the next level,
- Achieve equipment reliability excellence,
- Learn the secrets of high-reliability organizations.
Thus, the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit is for TapRooT® Investigators, Certified TapRooT® Instructors, and ANYONE (even if they have never attended TapRooT® Training) interested in performance improvement. And to help you feel confident that you won’t waste your time at the Summit, we offer this money-back GUARANTEE:
Attend the Global TapRooT® Summit. Go back to work and implement your roadmap to success. If you don’t save 10 times the cost of the Summit fee, let us know and return your Summit materials and we will refund 100% of the Summit registration fee. This guarantee shows how certain we are that you will learn valuable best practices to take your team’s performance—and that of your whole organization—to the next level.

Plan to attend the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit in Knoxville, Tennessee, from September 29 through October 3.

Every year, I get to choose the Summit Keynote Speakers that I think are interesting, informative, and motivating. This year, we have a great lineup. They are…

Gard Clark

On Thursday morning, we will hear about underwater operations and the disaster of the Titan submersible. Gard Clark, a Nuclear Navy Submariner who commanded the USS Dallas (SSN 700), will discuss the hazards and safeguards of underwater operations and the failure of management that led to the Titan’s sinking.
Barb Carr

Our own Barb Carr will close our Thursday by sharing practical tips for implementing your best ideas. This will help participants implement best practices that they learned at the Summit and corrective actions developed during incident investigations.
Kim “KC” Cambell, US Air Force Coronel (Ret.)

Our closing speaker on Friday is Kim “KC” Campbell – the “Killer Chick.”
You should plan to stay until noon on Friday to hear her story, Flying in the Face of Fear: Lessons on Leading with Courage, firsthand, then shake KC’s hand and thank her for over 20 years of service in the US Air Force.
These speakers will provide valuable ideas that you can implement and motivation to turn your ideas into implementation action.
Part 3: Best Practice Tracks
We have nine breakout sessions for each of the eight Best Practice Tracks.

We organize these sessions around the topic of each track (shown above) to make it easy for participants to choose the track that interests them the most and applies to attacking their company’s biggest challenges. You can see the details of the sessions in each track by clicking on the image of the tracks above.
However, we don’t want to restrict your learning. Therefore, attendees can pick and choose from all the tracks when they register to create a custom Summit experience. For example, you might attend these sessions from among the eight tracks…

Part 4: Networking
One thing we have always emphasized at the Global TapRooT® Summit is meeting people, networking, and benchmarking your programs with others. We start this at the opening session (with the Name Game) and continue it throughout the Summit.

We have learned to make networking fun. Many say the Summit is worth attending just because of the new people you meet (adding to your network). The Summit includes sessions for sharing best practices with industry leaders. Plus, you get to meet the inspiring keynote speakers. This makes the experience very valuable for someone interested in building a network of people interested in performance improvement.
