RIP Brian Locker

Brian Locker

Brian Locker – Former TapRooT® Instructor – Recently Passed Away

The above picture is of Mark Paradies presenting Brian Locker with a trophy when his “All Canadian” team won the TapRooT® Summit Golf Tournament back in 2008. Brian was a contract TapRooT® Instructor for 14 years for System Improvements and then spent an additional 10 years teaching TapRooT® Classes for Saudi Aramco. He taught thousands of people to investigate incidents using TapRooT® RCA and to develop corrective actions to prevent injuries and fatalities. Who knows how many lives he helped save by passing along this valuable knowledge?

Brian maintained his optimism during treatment.

About seven months ago, Brian found out that he had acute leukemia. I found out today that Brian passed away this week in Canada, where he was undergoing cancer treatment.

You can read Brian’s full obituary at THIS LINK.

All of his students, his fellow contact instructors, and everyone here at System Improvements will miss him.

Rest in Peace, Brian.
