What does a bad day look like? I love birds except . . .

birds

. . . for the bird that walked across my brand-new sidewalk.

Have you ever had something unexpected happen (like a bird walking across your wet cement) . . . even though you’ve planned everything to the nth degree? It happens more often that you would imagine.

Unexpected events can seem “minimal,” such as a happy little bird hopping across your freshly laid walk.

But, just ask OSHA, what seems minimally concerning can lead to very serious accidents. Sometimes even fatal. Think about innocent-seeming contributing factors. Long hair that gets in the way of machinery, being mentally absent from the task at hand, or the risk of working from a height — how many of these (and so many more) do we pass off as being able to safely accomplish “just this one time,” only to almost or actually have a disastrous incident take place?

Circumstances can crop up anywhere at any time if proper and safe sequence and procedures are not planned and followed. We encourage you to learn and use the TapRooT® System to find and fix problems.
