Who are the Keynote Speakers?
RaDonda Vaught, a nurse in Tennessee, was charged with criminally negligent homicide and abuse of an impaired adult after making a mistake. Hear her story and learn about what she is doing to improve the systems that support both patients and healthcare workers.
Garrison Wynn is an authentic guy with a varied background in manufacturing and finance and even six years of touring as a professional stand-up comedian. In his teens, he worked with Magnavox and baseball legend Hank Aaron; and at age 27, he was the youngest department head in a Fortune 500 company’s history. Garrison not only survived a chemical plant explosion but also developed safety products still being sold in 30 countries! He is the author of the bestseller The REAL Truth About Success, has co-authored with Stephen Covey, and has been a weekly contributor to the Washington Post. Garrison’s presentation goes beyond a magnetic performance; it leaves you with research-based solutions from his Fortune 100 client list that you can immediately implement.
A former security specialist with the Central Intelligence Agency, Susan Carnicero has 20 years of experience in interviewing, interrogation, and polygraph examination, focused primarily on national security, employment, and criminal issues. She is widely considered a leading authority on interviewing, detection of deception, and elicitation. Susan is the developer of a behavioral screening program currently used within the federal government and in various private industries, tapping experience gained in government service. She will describe the technique in her talk, “Spy the Lie.”
Barb Carr joined the TapRooT® Team in 2006 and is a TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Instructor and the Editorial Director for System Improvements. She is also a Certified Professional Coach and often speaks about soft skills like emotional intelligence, communication skills, and living true to one’s core values. Barb has a BS in Psychology from King University and completed human factors training at the University of Michigan. She will speak about “The Psychology of Happiness” – something we all need to know more about.
Frank W. Abagnale is one of the world’s most respected authorities on the subjects of forgery, embezzlement, and secure documents. For over forty years, he has lectured to and consulted with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations, and government agencies worldwide. He will speak about fraud prevention and IT security in his talk, “Art of the Steal.”
